Iraburu and Molina are Migueltxo Molina Ayestarán and Pablo Iraburu Allegue, directors and responsible for the creative part of this project. They both share the same passion for telling powerful stories with a purpose. Together they directed the documentary feature “Pura Vida”. Both work at Arena Comunicación Audiovisual, where they share a wide range of audio-visual projects.

We have been directing and producing documentaries for more than 20 years. Because of this, we have travelled to many different places in the planet. We have witnessed dramatic situations and wonderful moments. We have seen and heard incredibly diverse things. We have met people from all over the world. Along the way, we discovered something that we want to convey with this film. All men and women in the planet are brothers and sisters. We are part of the same thing, we share similar desires, fears and illusions. All of us men and women from all over the world share the same desire for survival.

At the same time, we discovered this: never in the history of humanity there had been so many walls built. So many fences and dividing lines. We are living a historic moment in which, because of very different reasons, human beings auto-impose ourselves a separation that is always dramatic.

These are really the thoughts of all men in all ages and lands, they are not original with me,
If they are not yours as much as mine they are nothing or next to nothing,
If they are not the riddle and the untying of the riddle they are nothing.

This is the grass that grows wherever the land is and the water is,
This is the common air that bathes the globe.
